Excellent art! I can clearly see how it’s a companion piece to the Batman art you made, but it’s still got a feeling all it’s own.

Definitely different from what I’m used to seeing from you, but just as confident and quality as I’ve come to expect! Drawing characters with multiple pairs of arms can be a big pain, but you managed to make it feel very natural and unobtrusive. Excellent job!

Hey, thanks! Yeah, drawing extra arms is definitely tricky. I can see it being very easy to mess up. I'm honestly surprised I didn't try to hide a couple of those hands either.

[The Rival: Old Friend, Current Enemy]

Ever since I saw the original character sheet, I was super inspired by the Rival’s design and story. I’m a sucker for a lot of the traits in his design DNA—your attention to detail is what made me like him so much in the first place, and it’s turned up to 11 here.
I can’t thank you enough for sharing this character, and for liking my ideas for him enough to directly implement them into him. It’s such an honor to see that I’ve had such an impact on a character I love!

That attention to detail is something I try to implement into all of my character designs, even those that are simpler than the Rival's here.

You absolutely nailed both Zack and Valerie, both visually and as characters. Without even having Valerie talk, I might add! Makes sense that she'd get along with Carol. And going to Hot Topic and getting upset when nobody else there is as into edgelord bullshit as he is peak Zack. I couldn't have asked for anything better. You're a legend for this!

Interesting that Carrie's kneejerk response to Jen opening up like that is so snarky, and that Jen's response to that is to play it off with a joke. Says quite a bit about each of them, and shows your talent for character writing!

I really do think that Carol genuinely doesn't realize just how snarky she comes across as sometimes. While obviously she said that with a bit of sarcasm, she was also making a genuine (and rather blunt) observation. Like, yeah, that really makes sense now that you've mentioned it.
Regardless of Carrie's response, Jenny probably would have deflected anything she said with a joke anyway. That's just the way she is.
