With their full figures visible, the shirts that are so perfectly 'them', and more rendering, this somehow feels like one of the 'most' Jen and Ninjiro images we've seen so far. It embodies both their characters so strongly, I love it!

MetalDoom responds:

I really felt it expressed their respective personalities and dynamic in a strong way, so I'm very happy to hear I'm not alone in feeling that. Thank you so much for such high praise!

They both look so damn good, you killed it on this one! Don't worry about the wait, it was more than worth it. I love their poses!

MercKaiju responds:

Thank you! I really did mean to make this back when I first drew Psylocke. I just couldn't figure out how I wanted them posed, so I put it aside for a bit to draw other stuff. Before I knew it, months had passed, it was a new year, and I still hadn't drawn it! I ended up drawing them both separately and just edited them together digitally. I kinda struggle trying to fit multiple characters on the same page. It's something I need to work on.

Chelsea looks as sexy as ever, I see she's found a clever way to beat the heat!
Great stuff as always, bro. Your composition and backgrounds always blow me away, I hope you recognize how impressive your art is. Keep it up!
Hope you enjoy your birthday, btw! I'll have to make sure that I make something nice and special for you.

MercKaiju responds:

I don't really think my backgrounds are all that impressive, especially when there isn't one half the time. I really did try with this one though, so thank you. I really appreciate that. I want to keep trying to add more detailed and interesting backgrounds to my art, so that way everyone doesn't have to stare into a white void all the time.

It’s a wonderful dream—and if it doesn’t come true within my lifetime, I’m coming back as a ghost until it does. I would drive anyone living with me to insanity by constantly making these things talk to each other

MetalDoom responds:

Many vengeful spirits see fit to make their presence known by rattling chains, but I think I like your method better!

I like the characterization of her being both the weakest and most benevolent, but also very distant and cold(no pun intended). Makes me wonder if she looks down on those beneath her so harshly because she also looks down on herself?
I really enjoy the color variants you added to her outfit—combined with your description of her fighting prowess and abilities, she seems like she’d be right at home in a fighting game. The perfect balance of regal, beautiful, and kick-ass!

BeastKing05 responds:

Always love hearing your thoughts on my characters.

Ahh, I can see the Durge influence, but not in all the ways I would’ve thought to take inspiration! The broader torso could be just as much Durge as it is someone like Venom, and taking the idea of Durge’d prehensile tendons/muscle fibers/tentacles and turning that into a twist on Ninjiro’s wraps is downright brilliant. This is an outstanding villainous counterpart character design.

MetalDoom responds:

Oh yeah, it might not be something you notice at first, but once you're told it becomes all too clear. My friend bringing up the idea of him being like Durge under the skin was such a eureka moment for me, I was all too happy to lean further into that with this redesign. Being a big fan of evil counterparts yourself, I think you'd know what makes a good one more than anybody so I really take your praise to heart here! Thanks!

Really love those colors!

NorBeBlue responds:

Thank you! I tried to keep it basic. At least with the colors in the character’s design.

I dig her outfit! Makes me think I should draw the Madame again at some point…

RainbowColorWarrior responds:

The outfit was inspired by the outfits worn by the Doctors during the 80's era of Doctor Who. The Final Era of the Classic Series before the BBC screwed over the show and put it on "Hiatus" (Basically cancelled). The Doctors during that era wore question mark lapels. Checkered patterned pants. And the scarf around her jacket is similar to that of Sylvester McCoy's Seventh Doctor.

The Red is inspired by Tom Baker Fourth Doctor's final outfit before he departed the show and the Doctor regenerated into the fifth Doctor Peter Davidson. His iconic scarf was multi colored, but it was variations on the color red. As was his coat and hat. It was a great outfit in my opinion.

They both look absolutely adorable! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, my guy.

Palindronev2 responds:

Thanks man! You have a great Christmas as well

Excellent art! I can clearly see how it’s a companion piece to the Batman art you made, but it’s still got a feeling all it’s own.

KnightLineArt responds:

Thanks, and I'm glad you like it. I felt slightly less confident in this one since the Batman piece was the base and I had the "vision" for that one.

it’s like heart and artist do you get it
