[The Rival: Old Friend, Current Enemy]

Ever since I saw the original character sheet, I was super inspired by the Rival’s design and story. I’m a sucker for a lot of the traits in his design DNA—your attention to detail is what made me like him so much in the first place, and it’s turned up to 11 here.
I can’t thank you enough for sharing this character, and for liking my ideas for him enough to directly implement them into him. It’s such an honor to see that I’ve had such an impact on a character I love!

These characters are all so badass! I really like the flavor text you gave us on each of them—just enough to entice me and want to learn more. Besides having great designs, you’ve given each one interesting personality traits and a compelling background! Do you have plans for a larger story or stories starring them?

Lovely atmosphere with the rainy city skyline! Absolutely love the colors here. I also really like seeing Flood Warning again!

You absolutely nailed both Zack and Valerie, both visually and as characters. Without even having Valerie talk, I might add! Makes sense that she'd get along with Carol. And going to Hot Topic and getting upset when nobody else there is as into edgelord bullshit as he is peak Zack. I couldn't have asked for anything better. You're a legend for this!

Interesting that Carrie's kneejerk response to Jen opening up like that is so snarky, and that Jen's response to that is to play it off with a joke. Says quite a bit about each of them, and shows your talent for character writing!

I really do think that Carol genuinely doesn't realize just how snarky she comes across as sometimes. While obviously she said that with a bit of sarcasm, she was also making a genuine (and rather blunt) observation. Like, yeah, that really makes sense now that you've mentioned it.
Regardless of Carrie's response, Jenny probably would have deflected anything she said with a joke anyway. That's just the way she is.
